As a personal project, I redesigned my online shop, Designfruit, which provides resources to designers in the form of premium Photoshop brushes and vector art. My goal was to transition from a simple WordPress blog to an online storefront. I wanted to improve my brand identity, better showcase my products, and provide an exceptional experience for my customers.
I cleaned up the brand, and led a revamp of the website with the goal of selling premium design resources to those who needed them. I designed many of the products on the website, the website interface, and all the interactions and flows.
I wanted to showcase the products in the best way possible, and provide a customer experience that reflected the premium designs. From my research, I found that customers were much more willing to buy the product if they trusted the source, and were able to try out samples before buying. I focused on concepts like how to make it feel credible, trustworthy and premium, and meeting the different customer purchase needs. I periodically ran exclusive deals for customers in order to create urgency and retention.
